Ceramics at Roadside Art
Fiesta is coming up in San Antonio, and I will be participating in a few events. While I am in the area I will be setting up on the side of the road and will announce the specific locations beforehand. Here are some examples of what I will be selling. I will post more examples every day.
This is a coil vase I made. I threw the base on the potter's wheel and added each coil individually as I built up the form. A series of these were inspired by mermaids. $250.00
I also collect Cascade Mountain Quartz myself when I go home. I climb high up a mountain in the Cascades and collect specimens that are at the surface. I very minimally dig and don't even bring more than a small pic ax with me. I wrap sterling silver wire around each crystal. They range in price starting at $25 each.

Below are ceramics made by Julie Kuhfahl and Allegra Rose and will be available soon on the side of the road near San Antonio.

My First Public Bellydance Performance!
For years I have danced all alone at home, but this Saturday I finally performed in public! Since I am so new it was only to one song, but at least it was something. It was at a cultural fair, and the belly dancers were so incredibly nice and welcoming to me. I was nervous beforehand, but as soon as I got there I felt so comfortable and it was all so natural. This Fiesta the Bedouin Dancers will be performing at King William Fair, and I will be joining them! It will be so much fun, and we will also be in the Flambeau parade; a nighttime parade where everyone will be adorned in lights. I will make another anouncement when that happens. I am in love with bellydancing, the people, and the costumes, and I am so glad to be able to have this experience.

Rummage Sale a La Common Space Studios
Hi! This is my new blog. My Scruffy blog was pretty fun for awhile, but this is a new time and I am heading new places. Going on road-trips (long or short) and making art projects are two of my favorite things, so I am combining the two into a giant favorite thing. When people see me on the side of the road they get a good laugh, and that makes me happy.
Some of you may know that I have been helping out Julie with Common Space Studios. If you don't know about CSS please visit commonspacestudios.org to get up-to-date info and go to facebook.com/CommonSpaceStudios. Well, this Saturday Julie and I are having a rummage sale. If you are my pal or aren't a serial killer let me know if you want to come to our sale. We will be selling mostly used items, furniture, dresses, Christmas decorations, ceramics, and other odds and ends.
Keep checking this blog for new locations, dates, and times that I am on the side of the road. Come by and say hi!!!
